Niall Horan shares 'brutal reality' of being part of One Direction
Niall Horan kickstarted his career with One Direction in 2010
Niall Horan, who kickstarted his career with popular pop band One Direction, opened about the most difficult part of being in the band.
The globally acclaimed pop group including Niall, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne was formed on X-Factor in 2010.
It became a major source of popularity for the boys, who are now pursuing their solo careers following the disbandment of the band in 2016.
The 32-year-old Irish singer recently appeared on The Good, The Bad & The Football podcast, where he was asked “Did you put anything in place for yourself when you were like absolutely thrust into the spotlight?”
“Did you management put anything around you where you go like ‘we need to keep these lads kind of looked after.”
While admitting that they had a good business management people, the Slow Hands hitmaker added, “I always felt like the Irish thing had something to play in terms of the way I was brought up, and I was never going to get too big for my boots anyways.
He always faced the problem of having his private life played out in front of millions including his family and his dating life.
Therefore, Niall confessed that he did try to maintain a certain amount of privacy, for which he did not leave a hotel once in five years.
"I tried my best to try and keep things private outside of work because my whole life was very private and there was periods where literally didn't leave, I'd say for five years, didn't leave a hotel once."
