Jeremy Renner's 'Mayor of Kingstown' season 4 is set to release on October 26
Jeremy Renner, who is widely known to play McLusky in Mayor of Kingstown, has opened how the show impacted him following his viral snowplow accident in 2023.
The fourth season of the action thriller series is slated to release on Paramount+ on October 26.
Ahead of the release, the 54-year-old spoke about how it felt returning to work after the accident. He further revealed how the show helped him in his recovery.
The Mission: Impossible actor stated, “I didn’t consider really anything for a good while. I mean just maybe the summer maybe I even considered the idea of it. and the just to kind of I have something to look forward to.”
He explained ScreenRant, “The idea of wanting to do Mayor was something to kind of, in the distance, maybe I’m going to get back on my feet again.”
Renner opened that he began working on the project a year after the fatal accident, however, he also admitted that he felt he was not physically ready at the time.
“Maybe I can get back to work again. So you know a year later, after the accident was when we started picking up and doing it.”
Jeremy said, “I probably wasn’t quite physically ready, but I felt mentally ready and prepared.”
For the unversed, the Avengers actor suffered a near fatal accident after he was crushed under a 14,000 pound snowplow on 2023 New Year’s Day.
