‘Harry Potter’ reboot star Arabella Stanton weighs in on iconic role
Arabella Stanton plays Hermione Granger in the new ‘Harry Potter’ TV series
Arabella Stanton shared her thoughts on walking in shoes of the beloved literary character Hermione Granger from Harry Potter.
The 11-year-old has confirmed that her part of filming has "just started filming."
In an interview the Associated Press, Stanton appeared with her co-stars Frankie Treadaway and Max Lester from Audible’s Harry Potter: The Full-Cast Audio Editions, expressing her excitement over the role.
The young artist looked back on the time when she first read the novel, saying, "Sort of just worked my way through them, and yeah, it was great. I've loved Harry Potter."
Revealing how she and her character, Hermione, share similar attributes, Stanton added, "I love books. I love writing, I love reading, I love doing all that kind of stuff. I mean, I like school, but I don’t love school. And I think books [are] the main connection between Hermione and I."
Stanton went on share her favourite magical props, Time Turner and Invisibility Cloak.
