Christine Baumgartner faces heat for remarrying after Kevin Costner divorce

Christine Baumgartner has officially tied the knot with fiancé, Josh Connor just one year after splitting with former partner Kevin Costner.

The 51-year-old nearly spent a decade with Costner as they were married from 2004 till 2024. They have been husband and wife for almost 20 years and now they are no more a couple.

Baumgartner, just a year after finalizing divorce with the Yellowstone actor, remarried former family friend and neighbour, Connor.

The duo tied the knot on October 18 at the Santa Ynez Ranch, a private vineyard in Santa Barbara, in an intimate ceremony comprising of approximately 100 people.

Ironically, the wedding ceremony was quite the same as it was when Christine married Kevin.

Ever since, the wedding pictures came out online, she has been facing backlash online as people are trolling her for moving on too quickly. 

Internet is having a hard time digesting the fact that someone who got out of a decades long marriage, remarried in no time.

One of the social media users wrote, “Didn’t she and Kevin recently divorce? Jumping out of one marriage to another is very telling.”

I’m just saying. If I was married that long, I’d stay single a lot longer”, wrote another.

Some people are suspecting that Baumgartner cheated Costner and this may be the reason they got divorced in the first place.

One person commented, “She has been cheating with his former friend for quite a while. The betrayal must be a huge blow to Kevin.”

Christine got married to Josh after announcing engagement in January 2025.
