Mike Tindall in talks for important royal role: 'time to shine'
Zara and Mike Tindall's upgrade in royal family is on cards after Prince Andrew turmoil
Mike Tindall secured an important position in Prince William's camp after the royal family was hit with back-to-back crises.
From health woes to family tensions, King Charles and the members of the firm have been facing challenging times since 2024.
Most recently, pressure mounted on the cancer-stricken monarch to stand with the victims of sexual assault by banishing his 'disgraced' brother, Prince Andrew.
To tackle the situation, Charles and the Prince of Wales sat down behind the scenes to decide the fate of Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie's father, reports claimed.
On October 17, Andrew released a much-awaited statement, announcing that he will not be using his royal title, the Duke of York and other honours, which were conferred upon him, after Jeffrey Epstein resurfaced scandal.
Amid the ongoing turmoil, Princess Anne's son-in-law made it to the headlines as he is in talks for a key royal role.
An insider told The Times earlier that Zara and Mike Tindall are "very much the glue of their generation of royals..."
They brought light to the royal gathering, even the serious ones, with their charming personalities.
The power couple "can help take the family’s mind off the gravity of what is going on," said the source.
Mike Tindall is expected to 'shine' in Prince William's reign alongside his wife, as they will reportedly support the future King in strengthening the monarchy amid a decline in the number of active working royals.
