Princess Anne on Prince Harry's return to royal fold: 'no way'

Princess Anne has reportedly distanced herself from her nephew Prince Harry's reconciliation bid with King Charles and the royal family.

The Princess Royal, the royal family's hardest-working member, has long been regarded as the Firm's most dependable figure.

"Anne isn't inclined to get involved in Harry's issues. She feels it's not her role," a source has claimed.

The 75-year-old is reluctant to make any such efforts as she knows it's Harry's own choice to step down as working royal.

She believes the Duke won't respect the backing that comes with the family.

'Anne sees Harry as having betrayed his father and brother,' one insider told Radar.

'She considers the issue finished.'

Princdess Anne became a key support to her mother during decades of service and played a central role in Charles' coronation as 'Gold-Stick-in-Waiting' – a position of honor symbolising her loyalty to the monarch.

However, Anne would have been a perfect choice for Harry to receive guidence. She has even proved that being the second child doesn't have to mean being sidelined.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex left their senior roles in 2020 and have since settled in California. The couple's public criticisms of the monarchy, from the Oprah Winfrey tell-all chat to Spare, have worsened their relationship with the royals.

Princess Anne's brief introduction

Princess Anne, the second child and only daughter of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, is popularyly known as The Princess Royal.

She is the sister of King Charles III, and the mother of Peter Phillips and Zara Tindall.
