Tabitha Bundrick indicted for triple murder after fentanyl laced robberies in NYC

Tabitha Bundrick, a 36-year-old New York woman, has been indicted on a host of serious charges, including murder, in connection with a series of alleged drugging and robberies spanning from 2023 to 2024 that resulted in the death of three men.

The Manhattan District Attorney’s office has charged Bundrick with 11 counts, including murder, robbery, burglary, and assault, accusing her of targeting four men by luring them, often with the promise of sex for money.

According to prosecutors, Bundrick would give the men drugs that she falsely claimed were cocaine. These drugs were allegedly laced with lethal doses of fentanyl. Once the victims became incapacitated and unable to resist, Bundrick is accused of robbing them, stealing cash, phones, sneakers, and credit cards.

Alvin L. Bragg, the Manhattan District Attorney, stated in a press release:

“This callous behaviour allegedly led to the deaths of three people. As alleged, each incident was calculated: Tabitha Bundrick knowingly provided fentanyl-laced drugs to incapacitate her victims so she could steal their personal belongings.”

Of the four men targeted, three tragically died after ingesting the fentanyl-laced substances. One victim was incapacitated but survived the ordeal.

Bundrick has entered a plea of not guilty to the state charges. While prosecutors contend the acts were planned and deliberate, her defense lawyers argue that she never intended to kill anyone and is, in fact, a victim herself due to a difficult past.

This indictment comes after Bundrick had already pleaded guilty to separate federal drug-related charges connected to the same deaths. She was sentenced in August to 13 years in federal prison for those prior charges.
