Buckingham Palace has released a new video, showing King Charles and Queen Camilla overseeing preparations to welcome their US guest at Windsor.

The King's office shared the two videos on the royal family's official Instagram account on Monday, September 15, on the eve of US President's state visit to the UK.

In the latest clip, shared on the day of the Duke of Sussex's 41th birthday, the King and Queen revealed they are all excited to receive their guest.

The video was captioned: "From extensive outdoor spaces to each inner floral display around the Castle, the Royal Gardening Team grow and forage the most beautiful plants across the grounds to bring the seasonal outdoors into a State Visit."

It added: Watch how the team prepare for the events. Head to The Royal Family on YouTube for the full film."

Trump and first lady Melania will be hosted by the King and Queen at Windsor Castle on September 16. It will mark the first time the US president has met with King Charles since he officially became the monarch.

The new update comes day after the Duke of Sussex's latest interview, in which he unwillingly responded to a question about his claims in Spare regarding the senior royals, including King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William and Kate Middleton.

In conversation with the Guardian, Harry said: "I don't believe that I aired my dirty laundry in public. It was a difficult message, but I did it in the best way possible. My conscience is clear."

The Duke's comments triggered new debate amid his efforts of reconciliation as he finally reunited with his father, King Charles, for a face-to-face conversation in nearly two years on September 10.

Their long-anticipated meeting took place at Clarence House in London, and it barely lasted an hour.

According to Good Morning Britain, when someone asked the Duke of Sussex about how his father was doing, he reportedly said, “Great. Thank you.”
