Princess Kate takes dig at Harry, Meghan with special tribute to King Charles
King Charles receives important message from Kate Middleton after meeting with Harry
Kate Middleton extended support to King Charles on a public platform, which was seen as a subtle dig at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
For the unversed, the Princess of Wales stepped out one day after the monarch's much-awaited meeting with Harry at Clarence House.
Catherine performed two royal engagements on September 11. She first visited the Sudbury Silk Mills in Sudbury, Suffolk, before heading to Kent to visit Marina Mill in Cuxton.
For her public outing, Princess Kate donned a chic pant coat, but the detail which grabbed the attention of a fashion expert was her decision to wear a check print.
In conversation with the Mail, Laura Craig claimed that the Princess of Wales appeared to be sending a clear message to the Sussexes with her outfit.
"Since nothing in Kate’s wardrobe is ever worn by accident, it’s hard not to question her design - and timing - in choosing to wear such a coded and patriotic fabric as the Prince of Wales check," the fashion enthusiast stated.
Laura shared that the public figures often avoid wearing checks as they do not look good in photographs and can appear blurry.
However, it was not the future Queen's concern. Instead, she was paying a tribute to the King and showing Harry and Meghan their true place.
"The message being: here stand the real bastions of the British Royal Family, in all their stalwart dedication to king and country. Any other pretenders can get back in their box - or on a plane to Montecito," the expert added.
