Prince Harry turned down King Charles generous offer on UK return
Prince Harry raised eyebrows with his shocking decision about King Charles' offer
Prince Harry sparked reactions after he turned down a generous offer made by his father, King Charles, during his UK visit.
For the unversed, the Duke of Sussex came to London in April regarding his security case, which he lost.
It has been reported that the monarch offered him to stay in Buckingham Palace, but Harry chose a hotel instead of a safe royal house despite raising security concerns in his home country.
While writing in the Daily Mail, royal expert Robert Hardman said, "After hearing he (Harry) was coming to London, the King had still offered him accommodation at Buckingham Palace during his stay."
"'Once again, he said - presumably because the Palace is still so unsafe - and ended up staying in a hotel,' said a member of staff, struggling to hide the sarcasm in light of what the Duke did next," he shared.
Speaking of the current situation between the Sussexes and the royal family, a first major step towards reconciliation has been taken by both parties.
Harry and King Charles' representatives met in London, which was dubbed a 'peace summit.'
However, no further details about the future of Prince Harry in the royal family have been shared.
