Kelly Clarkson’s former husband’s official cause of death has been revealed.
The former talent manager passed away peacefully at his residence in Butte, Montana August 7 at the age of 48 peacefully surrounded by his family.
The coroner for Silver Bow County, Dan Hollis, revealed that the official cause of death of Blackstock is melanoma, a form of skin cancer.
The 43-year-old’s deceased partner’s demise was confirmed by a representative for the family.
"It is with great sadness that we share the news that Brandon Blackstock has passed away," the statement read. "Brandon bravely battled cancer for more than three years. He passed away peacefully and was surrounded by family. We thank you for your thoughts and prayers and ask everyone to respect the family's privacy during this very difficult time."
The Kelly Clarkson Show host had a difficult time to cope with responsibilities of kids as her partner’s health condition worsened.
Only a handful of people in her personal and professional life were aware of the ongoing tumultuous time Clarkson was going through behind the scenes.
She even postponed her gigs for August’s Las Vegas residency dates because she needed to be home to take care of their children, River (11) and Remington (9).
