King Charles office abandons protocol to send sharp message to Harry, Meghan
Buckingham Palace breaks silence on controversial matter about Meghan, Harry in shock move
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have seemingly forced the royal family to go against its own traditions and send a pointed message to the Sussexes.
In an unprecedented turn of events, Buckingham Palace gave an insight into how the royal family really feels about Prince Harry and Meghan’s video right before the birth of their daughter, Princess Lilibet.
Shared on Meghan’s Instagram to mark Lilibet’s fourth birthday, a heavily pregnant Duchess of Sussex was seen dancing and twerking to Baby Mama song along with Harry in a labour room. The video garnered millions of views but the among the royal experts and likely the royals, the move was dubbed “cringe” and “embarrassing”.
Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo were invited to the Palace on Wednesday to attend a King’ Trust reception. During their visit, the couple filmed a cheeky video seemingly mocking Meghan’s Baby mama dance.
Just minute after the video was posted, the official Instagram page of the royal family left a comment, “We see you” with a pair of eyes and a wink emojis.
The family’s disproval appears evident as they not only mocked the Sussexes for their latest stunt but also declared that they are aware of everything that is happening.
Since the time of the late Queen Elizabeth, the Buckingham Palace has consistently maintained that they do not comment on private matters. They keep a neutral stance and only release a statement to address official matters.
The feud between Prince Harry and his father and brother Prince William has only widened over time but there was no statement addressing the matter. Despite Harry’s calls for a reconciliation with his family, the Palace appears to be taking a different approach, using less-than-subtle hints to send a pointed message across.
