Prince Harry blames Prince William for George Clooney fallout

Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex is said to be feeling hurt after alleged strained breakdown in his friendship with George Clooney.

Insiders claim that the youngest son of King Charles is blaming Prince William for the fallout.

For those unaware, Harry once believed he and Meghan Markle shared close bond with George and Amal Clooney. They even attended the Sussexes' 2018 royal wedding. Now, source claim the relationship has cooled in recent years and alleged attempts by Harry and Meghan to reconnect are said to be going unanswered or declined.

The source told Closer Magazine, "Out of all the friendships that have bitten the dust since Megxit this probably the one that still stings Harry the most."

"He really believed that he, Meghan, George and Amal made for a great combo and it’s no exaggeration to say that he was counting on their help once they arrived in the States.

"Don’t forget, George was even being mooted as godfather [to Prince Archie] for a while, there was a lot of talk about them teaming up for charity endeavours and it seemed like a love-in for the ages in entertainment and transatlantic terms," the source noted.

They went on to add that being "brutally ghosted" is tough pill for the couple to swallow.

"It stings, big time. Both Harry and Meghan have tried to reach out, together as well as separately, but their calls have either gone unanswered or on the rare occasions they’ve gotten through, it’s been a case of George and Amal fobbing them off with some type of excuse," the insider added further.

Explaining, "Meghan is very upset, too, and whilst they haven’t lost total hope that one day the friendship can be resolved they’re past the point of groveling or reaching back out. The brutal and hurtful bottom line is that they’re not interested in associating with Harry and Meghan, who have zero choice except to suck it up and move on with their lives."

Furthermore, Prince Harry believes Prince William "is somehow to blame," the source said. "He just isn’t clear what reason George is using to justify what appears like having ghosted him."

"And make no mistake Harry does feel really put out by it. The guy was at his wedding and then suddenly he won’t answer his calls. It’s very painful because there’s no explanation, so Harry’s been left to fill in the blanks," the source said.
