The Princess of Wales is 'very likely' to make a public appearance soon after nearly two weeks of laying low
Kate Middleton is expected to step back into the spotlight after her absence from last week’s Royal Ascot reignited fresh concerns about her health.
GB News reported that the Princess of Wales is “very likely” to attend Wimbledon next week in her role as royal patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.
She is also expected to take part in President Macron’s state visit to Windsor Castle on July 8.
Though the Ascot issue was later clarified to be an administrative error, the confusion sparked renewed speculation about Kate’s condition as she recovers from cancer.
Princess Catherine was last seen in public at the Garter Day service nearly two weeks ago.
A source close to the family told The Mail that Kate is “working out what she needs to be at and what she doesn’t,” adding, “She wants to find the right balance and work with a greater degree of flexibility than before.”
Foreign travel remains off the table for now, but domestic engagements — like her recent low-key visit to the Inner Hebrides — may increase later this year.
The palace is reportedly still deciding whether she’ll join Prince William for the Earthshot Prize Awards in Brazil this November.
