Tiger Shroff, Janhvi Kapoor team up for high-octane romance 'Lag Jaa Gale'

Tiger Shroff and Janhvi Kapoor are reportedly set to star in Raj Mehta’s upcoming film, Lag Jaa Gale.

The Indian filmmaker, who garnered recognition for projects like Good Newwz and Jug Jugg Jeeyo, is now gearing up for a high-octane revenge-action love story.

A source close to the development told Pinkvilla, “Raj Mehta’s next is a revenge action love story to be led by Tiger Shroff and Janhvi Kapoor. It’s a script he has been working on for a while, and wanted to have a first-time pairing on board. He narrated it to Tiger and Janhvi, and both the talents instantly agreed to come on board the film."

The source also shed light on the title of the film, saying, “the team was contemplating on several titles, and felt that Lag Jaa Gale is the apt on for the story. It’s a pure revenge actioner with a strong love-story in the backdrop. It’s a big screen actioner, and the makers are planning to shoot for some path-breaking sequences in action ft. Tiger Shroff.”

On the professional front, Tiger, 35, has completed promotions for Baaghi 4, while Janhvi is concluding the campaign for Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari.

This project marks the duo’s first on-screen collaboration.

Lag Jaa Gale, produced by Karan Johar, is scheduleld for release in the second half of 2026.
