Katrina Kaif calls Karan Johar 'kindest soul' on his 53rd birthday

Katrina Kaif makes Karan Johar’s 53rd birthday even more special with a heartwarming message.

The Baar Baar Dekho actress, who starred as Diya Kapoor in Karan’s 2016 production, extended warm wishes to the Indian filmmaker on his birthday.

Taking to her Instagram story on Sunday, May 25, the 41-year-old shared a photo of Karan with the caption, “Happy Birthday…. to the kindest warmest soul @karanjohar [with two white heart emojis].”

Meanwhile, other Bollywood celebrities were also quick to send birthday wishes to the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai director.

Kareena Kapoor shared a monochrome collage featuring moments with KJo, writing, “There is only one and there will only ever be one…my kjo Happy Birthday to my incredible friend and brother @karanjohar.”

Kajol, on the other hand, posted a picture of herself with Karan and designer Manish Malhotra.

On the professional front, Karan, 53, has recently received widespread praise for his latest production, Homebound.

The Neeraj Ghaywan-directed film, starring Ishaan Khatter, Janhvi Kapoor, and Vishal Jethwa was screened at Cannes 2025.
