Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal undergo dramatic weight loss for 'Love & War'

Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal have reportedly undergone intense body transformations for their upcoming film, Love & War.

The Indian actors, who garnered recognition for their diverse roles in the Bollywood industry, are set to star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much-anticipated project.

A source close to the development told News 18, “Ranbir Kapoor has lost 12 kgs while Vicky Kaushal has lost 15 kgs for their characters in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War. This extensive transformation of both stars is evident enough to light up the screens for the audiences.”

This update comes on the heels of the Animal actor expressing excitement over working with the Heeramandi director during the International Film Festival of India.

Speaking exclusively, Ranbir, 42, said, “Love & War is something which is every actor’s dream. To work with brilliant actors like Alia and Vicky and to be directed by the master – Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Just to be on his set, is tiring. It is long. The process can be a little daunting but eventually, as an artist, it is so satisfying. He really nurtures art. As actors, it’s truly been amazing so far.

Love & War, starring the Brahmāstra duo alongside Kaushal, 37, is scheduled for release on March 20, 2026.
