Ibrahim Ali Khan recently opened up about his career preferences before stepping into acting.
The 24-year-old actor, who is the elder son of Saif Ali Khan, shared his deep interest in cricket.
In a recent interview with GQ India, Ibrahim reflected on his passion for the sport.
Speaking exclusively to the outlet, Ibrahim revealed that he was once as enthusiastic about cricket as his grandfather, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi.
He went on to say that he even attempted to pursue cricket professionally at the Ranji Trophy level but realised it wasn’t the right path for him.
The Nadaaniyan actor admitted that after some uncertainty about his future, he decided to follow in his father’s footsteps.
Meanwhile, the legendary cricketer Mansoor, who was widely known as Tiger Pataudi, became India’s youngest Test captain at the age of 21.
Despite losing his vision in a car accident, he remained dedicated to the game and played a pivotal role in transforming Indian cricket during his captaincy.
On the professional front, Ibrahim recently made his Bollywood debut opposite Khushi Kapoor in Netflix’s Nadaaniyan.
The romantic-comedy, produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra, received mixed reviews after its premiere on March 7.
For the unversed, Ibrahim will next be seen in two upcoming projects, Sarzameen and Diler.
