Shah Rukh Khan to make a grand debut at Met Gala 2025

Shah Rukh Khan is ready to make his grand debut at the Met Gala in May 2025.

On April 27, the news was reportedly confirmed by Instagram account DietSabya that SRK will walk the steps of the iconic Metropolitan Museum of Art at Met Gala 2025.

It is pertinent to mention that the Don star’s manager Pooja Dadlani also liked the post, adding to the confirmation.

Interestingly, SRK will be donning an attire by renowned designer Sabyasachi, who is celebrating 25 years in fashion.

The post from Diet Sabya read, “National headlines. Threads in meltdown. Entertainment sites foaming at the mouth. Twitter frenzy et al. Time to shut it down.”

“We at DietSabya can confirm: yes, that is indeed SRK — India's undisputed generational superstar — making his Met Gala debut in May 2025, wearing Sabyasachi (India's biggest luxury brand). But wait, was there ever a doubt? Are we excited? Or…? Catch you on the carpet,” it added.

Besides SRK, other stars including Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt previously attended the event, which was hosted annually by Vogue.

Meanwhile, the King Khan will be the first Indian male actor to walk the Met Gala red carpet.
