Sunny Deol recently thrilled fans with a major announcement following the release of his new project, Jaat.
The 67-year-old actor, who garnered recognition for Jaat, revealed that the sequel to the action/thriller is in the works, while the first installment continues its theatrical run.
Taking to Instagram on Sunday, April 20, the Gadar 2 star shared a video with fans, unveiling the “exciting” update.
In the video, Sunny, dressed in warm clothes, is seen walking through lush green landscapes in a mountainous region.
While enjoying his walk, he said, “You gave me a lot of love for my film Jaat. I promise Jaat 2 will be even better than this.”
He continued, “I’ll leave in a few days to shoot my film Border. Love you (blow a kiss).”
The post was shared with a caption that read, “Your love is my strength. Your zeal is my success. Keep loving #Jaat and Cinema! Keep’ em coming and share them with me, your love and emotions is what has made #Jaat a success.”
Jaat, starring Sunny, Randeep Hooda, Saiyami Kher, Viineet Kumar Singh, and Ramya Krishnan, was released on April 10.
For the unversed, Anurag Singh’s directorial Border 2 and a sequel to the 1997 film is expected to release on Republic Day 2026.
