Deepika Padukone's latest announcement breaks internet

Deepika Padukone has just shared an exciting update that has sparked excitement among fans.

The 39-year-old diva has been away from the limelight for a while as she welcomed a daughter last year in September.

Therefore, she is currently spending time with her little girl, who she and Ranveer Singh named as Dua Padukone Singh.

Before going on her maternity break, the Om Shanti Om actress featured in record breaking film Pathaan alongside the King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan.

Earlier today, Deepika dropped a post revealing that her another blockbuster film Piku is once again releasing in cinemas on the occasion of its 10th anniversary.

“A film that will always have my heart-PIKU is back in theatres on 9th May 2025 to celebrate its 10th Anniversary.”

The Ram Leela actress also remembered late co-star Irrfan Khan in the announcement post, as she wrote, “Irrfan, we miss you! And think about you every so often…”

Directed by Shoojit Sircar, Piku is a happy film based on a road trip featuring Deepika, Irrfan and the great Amitabh Bachchan.

The latest announcement has ignited excitement among fans as they reacted to the post saying, “One of the best movies I’ve see! My mum loves it so much.”
