Jason Isaacs gives shocking insights into 'White Lotus' filming struggles

Jason Isaacs went through a lot of pain while filming The White Lotus – even more than his character, Timothy Ratliff, who survived the vacation unharmed.

The 61-year-old British actor revealed that he faced several injuries while shooting the third season of the series in Thailand.

During his interview on Literally! With Rob Lowe podcast on the Thursday, April 17th episode, Isaacs spilled the beans on his accidents, after the host teased him saying, "I've heard a couple of stories from [White Lotus co-star Patrick Schwarzenegger], One of them is already out there in the ether... of you running through the plate glass window."

Jokingly, the Harry Potter star said, "I mean, I didn't run through it. I nearly ran through it in my own defense.

Explaining how he got into the accident, Isaacs added, "Two things. One, it was completely spotless. There was a crew on this billionaire’s super yacht. They had nothing to do while we were shooting. So all they did was clean these windows. All day, every day, so that you couldn't see them, for a start."

He continued, "And the other thing is that they oriented the boat with the right mountains and trees and islands behind us. And when it was in the right position, they needed you there in a hurry. But we were all huddled in this tiny air-conditioned room 'cause it was so hot."

As soon as Isaacs was called to the set, he ended up running into the window, "So I jumped into a window, knocked myself out. Was caught by the second [assistant director]. He said I was there for minutes. I think I was there for a second. And yeah, I split my head open, which was hilarious."

Laughing, The OA actor remarked, "Hilarity abounded for everybody.”
