Delhi Belly actor Imran Khan, who tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend in 2011, opened about what went wrong in his relationship.
Khan was one of the most popular names of Bollywood in 2000s. Where many actors kept their relationships low-key, he stood out among all as he married Avantika Malik in his peak years.
But the duo, who also share a daughter named Imara with, parted ways in 2019.
In a recent interview, the 42-year-old shared that his relationship with Avantika began in teenage, and their habits just not grew together.
Imran told Filmfare, “I entered this relationship when I was very young. I was 19, and in all good faith and good intention.”
“But as is sometimes the case with these kinds of long-term relationships, particularly when you start at a very young age, a lot of the interpersonal dynamics and patterns get set in how you were as a teenager and as you grow.”
I Hate Luv Storys actor continued, “Perhaps, I think all of those did not grow and evolve enough and in some way, we were not supporting or empowering each other to be the healthiest version of ourselves."
Reportedly, Khan is all set to mark his comeback with Aamir Khan’s Netflix film.
