Aamir Khan is making a heart-breaking confession after the sudden demise of Manoj Kumar, who sadly passed away at the age of 87.
During an exclusive media interaction, the Sitaare Zameen Par actor expressed disappointment at never having had the chance to meet the veteran star, who passed away on Friday, April 4.
The Laapataa Ladies producer said, “He was such an incredible filmmaker that I have learned a lot by watching his movies."
Expressing regret on not being there during his last moments, the actor further went on to add, “I regret not meeting him. I knew he was ill. I also spoke with his son Kunal but I couldn’t meet him and I this fact will always make be sad.”
In addition, Aamir called him one of India's greatest filmmakers, hailing him as the 'true son of the soil.'
Other celebrities attending the prayer meet in honor of the legendary actor included Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Farhan Akhtar, Esha Deol, Prem Chopra, Rakesh Roshan, Sonu Nigam, Udit Narayan, David Dhawan, and others.
Manoj was regarded as one of the most talented and successful actors in the history of Bollywood, with a career spanning over four decades.
