Kate Middleton pens personal note as King Charles recovers from cancer
Kensington Palace shares Princess Kate's emotional message on Mother's Day
Kate Middleton shared an emotional message to mark a special occasion amid her father-in-law King Charles' ongoing health problems.
Kensington Palace released a heartfelt video and a personal note penned by Catherine on Mother's Day.
Following the controversy of last year's Mother's Day photo, the Princess of Wales chose not to share a family portrait with her children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Princess Louis.
Instead, the future Queen dedicated a meaningful post highlighting the importance of Mother Nature amid increasing climate issues.
A newly released video featured soothing shots of mountains, oceans, trees, flowers, rain and other natural phenomena.
Princess Kate wrote, "Over the past year, nature has been our sanctuary."
She added, "This Mother’s Day, let us celebrate Mother Nature and recognise how our bond with the natural world can help not only nurture our inner selves but remind us too of the role we play within the rich tapestry of life. C."
It is pertinent to mention that the Princess of Wales' new statement came after the monarch's hospital stay due to side effects of cancer treatment.
