Chrissy Teigen shares wardrobe accident giving her ‘worst black eye’

Chrissy Teigen has had her fair share of hilarious and relatable moments, but this one might take the cake—or, in this case, the black eye.

The Lip Sync Battle co-host, 39, took to Instagram Stories on March 21 to share her latest unexpected injury, which she described as the result of a “lazy” fashion decision gone horribly wrong.

“I am going to have the worst black eye of all time,” she told her followers in a video recorded from inside her walk-in closet.

Teigen went on to explain how the mishap unfolded, instead of properly removing a pair of jeans from a hanger, she attempted to yank them out by the pant leg. That’s when fashion karma struck—literally.

“I was like, ‘Oh, I’ll just pull it.’ I pulled this side, and then this thing whipped out, and just like, b*tch slapped me,” she said, referring to the metal top of the hanger that snapped back at her.

"I'm like, numb," she added, clearly still processing the surprise attack.

But Teigen’s fashion-related struggles don’t stop at flying hangers. Earlier this month, she revealed on Today with Jenna & Friends that her biggest style critic is none other than her 8-year-old daughter, Luna.

"Luna doesn’t like anything I wear ever," Teigen confessed to hosts Jenna Bush Hager and Dwyane Wade. 

"She doesn’t like cleavage. She’s very modest. Except, you know how kids nowadays will wear crop tops with big baggy jeans and stuff? She tends to do like masculine stuff.”

Teigen and her husband, John Legend, share four children: Luna, 8, Miles, 6, Esti, 2, and 20-month-old Wren. And while she may have mastered parenting, cooking, and social media humor, it looks like safely removing jeans from a hanger might still be a work in progress.
