Tom Hanks can't believe he's still part of 'Toy Story' franchise
'Toy Story' star Tom Hanks reflects of voicing Woody for over 30 years
Tom Hanks talked about voicing Woody the Sheriff in the Toy Story franchise for more than 3 decades.
Speaking with People Magazine of Toy Story 5, Hanks said, "Oh my Lord, all I can say is the saga continues."
About his Toy Story costars, Hanks said, "I have seen it. I don't know how they do it, but it is a vibrant and proper chapter in the Toy Story canon."
"None of us can believe that we're still a part of it," he added.
The co-producer of Celebrity Autobiography went on to add, "The toys are back and this time, Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Jessie and the rest of the gang's jobs are challenged when they come face-to-face with Lilypad, a brand-new tablet device that arrives with her own disruptive ideas about what is best for their kid, Bonnie."
"Will playtime ever be the same?" he added.
Besides Tom Hanks, Toy Story also casts Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, John Ratzenberger and Wallace Shawn. Meanwhile, Conan O'Brien also joins Toy Story 5 as a "toilet-training tech toy Smarty Pants" and Tony Hale returns as Forky from 2019's Toy Story 4.
It is pertinent to mention that the Toy Story 5 is set to release on June 19.
Futhermore, Hanks' Celebrity Autobiography, which he produces and stars his wife Rita Wilson is running on Broadway through August 9.
