Amy Schumer’s ‘Kinda Pregnant’ leads Netflix after release on February 5
Amy Schumer’s Kinda Pregnant is “kinda” hit too.
The actress’ latest comedy film, Kinda Pregnant, has taken the top spot on Netflix, becoming the most-watched title on the platform for the week of February 3-9. The movie racked up an impressive 25.1 million views in just its first five days of streaming.
Following closely on Netflix’s Top 10 English-Language Movies list was Back in Action, which continued its strong performance by securing 9.2 million views in its fourth consecutive week on the chart, as per Variety.
However, the No. 2 most-watched title overall belonged to a non-English-language film.
The Korean thriller Bogotá: City of the Lost made a powerful debut, accumulating 13 million views within its first six days on Netflix. Meanwhile, Lucca’s World continued to perform well, earning 9.4 million views in its second week, the outlet reported.
Netflix’s most-watched TV series of the week also came from the non-English category. The Swedish crime drama The Åre Murders debuted at No. 1 with 8.8 million views in its first four days on the platform.
In the English-language TV category, The Night Agent Season 2 led the chart with 7.5 million views in its third week, while its first season remained popular, landing at No. 9 with 2.6 million views.
Similarly, The Recruit Season 2 took the No. 2 spot with 6.1 million views, with its first season also ranking at No. 6 with 3.3 million views.
With a mix of English and non-English content dominating Netflix’s charts, it’s clear that global audiences continue to engage with diverse storytelling across different genres and languages.
