Joe Keery shares his feeling about the emotional end of ‘Stranger Things’
Stranger Things star Joe Keery has recently spoken up about finishing the fifth and final season of the sci-fi series in December 2024.
During an appearance on latest episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on January 28, the star confessed it was “crazy” experience.
Joe, who is known for playing Steve Harrington on Netflix show, said that it was a long year.
“But to wrap it all up and the anticipation of working on something for so long — I mean it’s been one-third of my life, really,” explained the 32-year-old.
Joe revealed that he got emotional along with his cast, saying, “It was like everything really hit on that last day of shooting.”
The actor mentioned that he waited to watch “the other cast members wrap and it was just emotional and great”.
Speaking of his co-stars like Millie Bobby Brown, Caleb McLaughlin, Joe told Fallon that they are “family for life” for him.
Stranger Things Season 5 cast's emotional moments
Last year on December 10, Netflix shared that filming for the final season of Stranger Things was coming to an end.
Finn Wolfhard, who played Mike Wheeler on the show, posted photos of the cast on set as he wrote, “We just wrapped Stranger Things Season 5. I’m still in shock. We shot it for a year and I’ll miss all of my friends and our characters terribly.”
Meanwhile, Noah Schnapp disclosed that he also finished his final scene as Will Byers two days ago.
