Shahid Kapoor has expressed how he feels about director Imtiaz Ali’s vision for Jab We Met after 18 years.
Recently, Kapoor appeared for a promotional interview for his latest film Veda, where was enlightened about Ali’s expectation for Geet and Aditya’s future.
The Kabir Singh actor was shown a video clip of the Tamasha director expressing his views about the two characters life 18 years later.
According to Imtiaz, he expects Aditya and Geet to be sitting at a divorce laywer’s office.
Shahid believes that he is no one to judge or question the creator’s imagination rather he thinks that the idea is quite fun.
He added: "That's actually a fun idea that Geet and Aditya are now breaking up because they are frustrated with each other. Aditya is like, 'She is her own favourite, who can ever put up with her?'”
The 43-year-old star said that if the filmmaker thinks that the two will divorce each other, he is no one to come in between. “I am just an actor."
Jab We Met is one of the popular movies of 2007. It still considered as one of the favourites among viewers.
The movie featured Shahid alongside Kareena Kapoor in pivotal role.
