Piku actor Irrfan Khan is still considered as one of the most imminent stars of Bollywood even after four years of his death.
The late actor has given a major contribution in the entertainment industry by starring in big films like Life of Pi, Hindi Medium, Slumdog Millionaire, The Lunchbox and many more.
Earlier today, the National School of Drama, one of the prestigious film institutes of India, dedicated an emotional tribute to Khan by screening his action drama The Song of Scorpions.
Taking it to their official social media account, the school shared a glimpse of the event that took place to honour the Karwaan actor.
The special occasion was attended by the 53-year-old actor’s wife Sutapa Sikdar and batch mates Mita Vasisht and Bhawani Bashir Yasir.
They mentioned in the caption: "A heartfelt tribute to the legendary Irrfan Khan! The Film Club, NSD-SU, proudly presented "The Song of Scorpions"—Irrfan Sir's final theatrical masterpiece.”
“All the guests were felicitated by the Director of National School of Drama- Shri Chittaranjan Tripathy. Together, we celebrated the enchanting magic that Irrfan brought to the world of cinema! Let his legacy live on.”
Irrfan died in 2020 after fighting a battle with a rare form of cancer, Neuroendocrine tumor.
His last film of the career was Angrezi Medium, which was a sequel to the 2017 film featuring him alongside Saba Qamar and Deepak Dobriyal.
