Karan Johar reveals 'unexpected' truth about his love life
Karan Johar opens up about his relationship status
Karan Johar is finally putting his foot down on being single, comparing relationships to a walk in Jurassic Park.
The Koffee with Karan host, who is widely known for his outspoken views, shared his thoughts on his current relationship status via Instagram Stories on Tuesday, December 17.
The filmmaker humorously wrote across the photo, “Why am I single?”
Offering an insight into his relationship status, KJo further went on to add, “Because relationships are like a walk in the Park! Jurassic Park.”
During his regal appearance on the Jai Madaan- Lady of Fortune show, the filmmaker previously opened up about his decision to embrace single parenthood.
Speaking highly of his mother who made it possible for him to raise children without a partner, he said at the time, "How do they know I don’t have a mother and a father in me, that I can get my child the love of both parents? Yes, conventionally and traditionally, children are raised by a mother and a father, and I get that.
“I am a single parent, and it comes with its own set of challenges. But that doesn’t mean that a woman and a man have different roles to play.
Reflecting on the thought-process, Karan further went on to add, “Like I think that’s very stupid. Cause that’s an old world thinking. And I feel like enough love to give my child. And also, I have a mother at home who they call mumma."
For the unversed, Karan Johar welcomed his twins, Yash and Roohi, via surrogacy in February 2017.
