Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan reunite for upcoming movie 'Spirit': insider

Bollywood superstars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan are reportedly reuniting on the big screen for the upcoming film Spirit.

According to Pinkvilla, an insider has revealed that the couple is in talks to join the cast of acclaimed filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga's next directorial project. 

The tipster further shared that Kareena and Saif are expected to take on negative roles in the film, while Indian actress Mrunal Thakur and actor Prabhas will portray the lead characters.

The source stated, "Spirit is the most ambitious and awaited film of Indian Cinema, and the makers are going all out to have the best and most talented actors of world cinema on board the film."

"While Prabhas is locked to play the role of a cop, the conversations are in progress with Mrunal Thakur, Saif Ali Khan, and Kareena Kapoor with the latter two for the negative turn," the insider added. 

As per the reports, the shooting of Spirit is scheduled to begin in 2025, with an expected release in 2026. 

However, the actors have yet to officially confirm their participation in the film.

For the unversed, Kareena and Saif were last seen together in the action-thriller Agent Vinod in 2012, the same year they tied the knot.
