Snoop Dogg breaks silence amid Gregg Wallace's controversy
Iconic rapper Snoop Dogg has revealed his intentions regarding Gregg Wallace's prior MasterChef role.
He has expressed his aim about snatching Gregg's position and wants allies like Gordon Ramsay to support his bid.
The 53-year-old revealed that he is 'serious' when it comes to cuisine and mentioned that he has even shared a few culinary advices with Gordon throughout the years.
As per the reports, Snoop is setting his sights on the prestigious position as BBC is in works to ensure the program continues for a minimum of the next four years.
While conversing with The Mirror, the rapper stated: "You better believe Snoop could be the new MasterChef judge."
"My boy Gordon [Ramsay] judges on the US version of the show, and I know he would back me to be able to judge on the UK version."
He went on adding, "He knows I am not playing when it comes to food. He knows I can cook – I have even given him some tips."
Moreover, renowned chefs like James Martin are already speculated to be among the contenders.
This comes after, Gregg Wallace resigned from his hosting role on MasterChef following the accusations of misconduct from 13 individuals, including Newsnight anchor Kirsty Wark.
