Bollywood singer Karan Aujla is under scrutiny as he has been served with a legal notice for his unseemly songs.
Karan has been alleged by professor Panditrao Dharnevar, for promoting alcohol through his soundtracks.
According to a report in ABP, the complaint read that the 27-year-old promotes harmful content, including the glorification of alcohol, drugs, and violence.
Moreover, Dharnevar urged that the singer should refrain from performing songs such as Chitta Kurta, Adhia, Few Days, Alcohol 2, Gangsta and Bandook in his show.
The petitioner warned that if the Softly vocalist didn't stop, he will file a defamation petition in court against SSP and DGP of Chandigarh, as he believed that the songs will have a negative impact on the audience.
Karan is set to perform in highly anticipated debut 8-city India arena tour, which is scheduled for December 2024 and early January 2025.
The rapper will be performing on December 7 in Chandigarh. The Bengaluru show will take place on December 13.
His performances in New Delhi have been scheduled for 15th, 18th, 19th of followed by a concert in Mumbai on December 21.
Days back, Panditrao Dharnevar also filed a case against the G.O.A.T hitmaker Diljit Dosanjh, asking him to stop singing and composing such immoral songs.
