Taylor Swift faces trouble with Eras Tour book amid illegal sales
British sites list Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour book on unofficial resell sites
Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour book, which is not available for sale yet in the UK, is reportedly listed for reselling after it got released in the US.
The 34-year-old songstress released her book exclusively for sale in Target in the US on Friday and it documents her experience of her record-breaking 20-months long tour.
The Anti-Hero hitmaker had announced the release date for her merch in UK to be December 7th but turns out some fans are so eager to purchase it that they’re ready to pay more than twice of the original price.
Swift’s book is listed at $39.99 (£30) in the US but people with ulterior motives are selling it on Vinted and eBay for hundreds of pounds.
As per a Daily Mail report, one unofficial seller listed the book for £180 six times the original price tag.
Another set the price to £509.62, for a book that is not yet out in the UK so they’re allegedly selling fraudulent copies or reselling the ones they bought in the US.
Resellers are calling their offers “exclusive” and putting the tag of “limited copies” as they dub it the “ideal Christmas present.”
