Karan Johar pays heartfelt tribute to all men by sharing Ranveer Singh's iconic dance video
Karan Johar has seemingly paid tribute to Ranveer Singh by sharing a video of his iconic dance step on International Men’s Day 2024.
On November 19, the 52-year-old Indian filmmaker took to his Instagram account to release a video featuring the Simmba actor from his directorial Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.
In a viral video, Ranveer is seen dancing alongside another renowned Indian actor, Tota Roy Chaudhary to the popular song titled Dola Re Dola.
By sharing this clip, Karan conveyed a strong message about gender roles and the concept of masculinity on International Men's Day.
He also urged men not to "hold back" anything that might box them into stereotypes.
The Jigra director captioned his post with a powerful masculine message, "Talent has no gender [Hunar ka koi gender nehi hota], Today is dedicated to the real MVPs of our society - the men. But not just any [and definitely not EVERY] man...today is for the men who champion feminism."
"The ones who uplift humanity by advocating equity, equality & a more compassionate society for women & for everyone who just dare to be their true self," Karan added.
As Karan’s video went viral on social media, several fans began flooding the comments section with praises and admiration for the moviemaker.
One fan wrote, "Men breaking barriers!"
"One of the best scenes in the movie you are the Best KJO," another admirer chimed in.
