Ajay Devgn slams today's actors in recent update
Ajay Devgn reflects on early days in his career as he draws comparisons between him and the current generation of actors.
The 55-year-old, who is currently basking in the success of his highly-acclaimed film Singham Again, offered an insight into his level of fun alongside his director Rohit Shetty.
During an exclusive interview with Ranveer Allahabadia, the actor emphasised the importance of real-life experiences.
He expressed disappointment over today's generation's alarming addiction to gadgets and mobiles as he went on to add, “In today’s world, you don’t see the dominating male personality. All are boys; you don’t see ‘men-men’. In the earlier generation, we saw men—even in my generation, from Jackie Shroff to Amitabh Bachchan, they were all men.”
Shetty agreed with Ajay's stance, citing examples of Akshay Kumar and Sunny Deol, who captivated audiences with their performances.
Referring to the current generation of actors as 'boys,' Ajay further said, “There’s been a change in upbringing, and you don’t become a man just by building a body. There’s an attitude and approach toward life that’s missing."
On professional front, the Drishyam actor's latest film is on a successful run in theatres, collecting a whopping Rs. 180 crore at the box-office.
