Alia Bhatt reveals she has Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) as she prepares for the release of Jigra.
The 32-year-old actress, who is widely known for her acting prowess and a string of blockbuster hits in the film industry, recently made the shocking revelation about her mental health.
During an exclusive interview with The Lallantop, the Gangubai actress admitted to zoning out during conversations and classes since childhood.
However, Alia revealed that she was unaware of her condition until recently, when a psychological test confirmed she falls on the high end of the ADHD spectrum.
The Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani star explained, "When I told about this to my friends, they were like, ‘We always knew. This is not some sort of revelation.'"
Despite falling on the high end of the specified mental disorder, she admitted to feeling most at ease when in front of the camera.
"Then I understood why I am at peace in front of the camera," she added.
In addition, Alia explained that since becoming a mother, she has undergone changes that showcase her maternal strengths.
She went on to add, "Now after Raha, when I am with her, I am most present."
