Imran Khan is getting candid about his specific and eclectic preferences in the film industry.
The 41-year-old, who is famous for his iconic role in Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na, shared his stance on working as a charming boy-next-door in his 20s’.
During an exclusive interview with Times of India, Imran shared that he connected more with relationship stories back in the days.
The actor further went on to explain that he was more inclined towards narratives about young people navigating their journey.
He said, "I didn’t entirely feel I could relate to the action-drama cinema.”
Previously, he opened up to India Today about developing a competitive spirit with Ranbir Kapoor.
In response to the question, he confirmed that Ranbir never indulged in the competitive aspect of stardom, as the Sanju actor was never interested in fostering rivalry with his fellow actors.
On professional front, Imran was actively working in the industry between 2008 and 2018.
He starred in a string of romantic films, including like I Hate Luv Storys, Gori Tere Pyaar Mein, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, and Break Ke Baad.
