Kate Middleton breaks silence after historic Wimbledon welcome
Princess Kate sends strong message after standing ovation at Wimbledon
Right after the historic welcome she received at Wimbledon on Sunday, Kate Middleton conveyed a powerful 'healing' message.
The Princess of Wales received a standing ovation at Wimbledon before the men’s final. On Monday, as patron of the Natural History Museum, Kate, 42, shared an uplifting message to promote its Urban Nature Project launch.
In the social media post, she wrote: “I know the power of nature to support our development and wellbeing, both by bringing us joy and helping to keep us physically, mentally and spiritually healthy.
"I hope these gardens will be inspiring and transformative for the thousands of people who visit.”
The message came with photos of the Princess’s visit to the Urban Nature Project in 2021. It aims to help people reconnect with the natural world and to understand the role of nature in our towns and cities.
The post is a positive sign for Kate, who got a standing ovation at Wimbledon on Sunday before the men’s final.
On Sunday Kate beamed as she presented trophies to Wimbledon players after an intense Grand Slam. It marks her second public appearance of the year amid ongoing cancer treatment.
Kate said she was "glad to be back" at Wimbledon today as the royal was greeted with a standing ovation and roaring crowds.
The royal stunned in a custom purple Safiyaa Cecilia dress and wore her hair in loose curls, while pairing the elegant outfit with gold jewellery. She also donned her signature small bow pin to celebrate the occasion.
