Prince, Michael Jackson's son pays tribute to late father in memory on social media
Michael Jackson's son Prince Jackson is missing his father on his 15th death anniversary.
Sharing a photo from his his father's 1993 Super Bowl XXVII Halftime Show at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California, on his Instagram story on Tuesday, the 27-year-old paid a tribute to the King of Pop.
The photo of the occasion where he performed Heal the World, was set to the 1985 charity single We Are the World, which was also written by Michael alongside Lionel Richie.
“Miss you pops,” Prince wrote in his story, adding, “The world felt better with you in it.”
The Thriller hitmaker passed away on June 25, 2009 at the age of 50, after going into a cardiac arrest.
A jury ruled the cardiologist of the singer, Conrad Murray negligent in Michael's death after the singer overdosed on the anaesthetic propofol, leading to Murray's conviction for involuntary manslaughter in 2011 after a two-month trial.
However, Murray received a four-year prison sentence and that term was served by him for almost two years, before he was freed in October of 2013.
