Jennie Kim, a member of the popular K-Pop group Blackpink, made a stunning runway debut at Jacquemus' La Casa 15th anniversary show in Capri, Italy.
Kim closed the show on Monday, strutting down the catwalk in a sleek black midi dress with a daring open back, paired with zebra-print heels and a vibrant blue clutch.
Kim's attendance was hinted on Instagram a few hours before when the company shared a carousel of photos of Kim wearing a strapless red dress and tiny black shades. Although her appearance on the runway was unexpected, her presence was not.
Kim and designer Simon Porte Jacquemus have a long-standing friendship; the singer has attended several of his exhibitions in the past, most recently for the company's holiday campaign in December of last year.
The singer made a separate fashion statement last month at the Met Gala, where she showed up wearing a blue couture Alaïa mini dress. The singer made her Met Gala debut in 2023, and this year marked her second.
Kim represents Chanel and Calvin Klein as an ambassador as well. In addition to her roles in Blackpink and fashion, she debuted as an actress in The Idol last year, with Lily-Rose Depp and Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye.
“It’s overwhelming, but I’m grateful and thankful,” she said of the debut last year. “All of those things at the same time.”
