WhatsApp latest update for iOS is out now
Meta app is releasing media upload quality feature for iOS users which will improve content details
WhatsApp is rolling out a new feature by the name of media upload quality for iOS users.
Ensuring that prominent details within their photos and videos are always stored, this feature has been structured to offer users greater control over their sharing experience, according to WABetaInfo.
Meta app appears to offer iOS users the same functionality to manage media upload quality as it has already provided for the Android version.
Within the storage and data section on the iOS application, this new option is now available to choose the default quality of photos and videos.
While the high-quality functionality makes sure that photos and videos are shared with improved clarity along with preserving important details, selecting the standard quality feature permits users for instantaneous sharing with smaller file sizes.
However, it is also important to note that the high-quality option does not permit users to share media in its original quality directly. If WhatsApp users want to do that they are required to share photos and videos as documents to maintain their original quality.
By removing the need for manually adjusting settings for every image and video along with adding a layer of convenience to the user experience, this feature offers prominent benefits.
