WhatsApp reveals new AI feature
Meta app has been given new artificial intelligence feature to improve, enhance user experience
WhatsApp is getting a brand new AI feature with the help of Meta.
Meta-owned app’s new artificial intelligence functionality will let users create AI images in the chat room. Interestingly, this new feature is already accessible in WhatsApp’s beta version 2.24.12.4 for Android devices, according to WABetaInfo.
Meta AI, which is a smart assistant developed by Meta, supports this Imagine-named feature. As of now, only certain users can access this AI-based assistant, that is why not every user who is registered can use this.
By clicking the attachment icon in the chat room, users can access the Imagine feature. Moreover, features that are with ring shaped and gradient-coloured icons are positioned alongside the Event feature.
Users can create AI images quickly when the feature is clicked. It is not yet identified how the display of the Imagine feature page will appear. As this feature is still in the making, it is not yet known when it will be released to the public version.
Additionally, this new feature is not the first AI functionality by Meta for WhatsApp. Meta is also known to have launched the AI Profile Photo Maker feature on WhatsApp’s beta update version 2.24.11.17. This feature will assist users in producing AI-based profile photos as the name suggests.
