Aishwarya Rai calls her Cannes look 'magical' despite serious criticism

Aishwarya Rai appeared unbothered by the massive trolling over her 2024 Cannes Film Festival look.

For the unversed, the Bollywood diva wore a black and gold Falguni and Shane Peacock gown on the star-studded evening.

The highlight of her dress was puffy white sleeves and a long cape with golden flowers all over. 

As the photos and videos of her Cannes look went viral, fans expressed their disappointment over her fashion choices. 

However, the Queen of the Cannes red carpet called her outfit 'magical' during an interview with Vogue.  

The iconic Bollywood actress shared, "The look last evening at the red carpet was designed by my dearest friends Shane and Falguni Peacock. They call it gilded glow but to me it was just magical."

In the comments section of her interview, one fan gave a suggestion and wrote, "You should give a chance to other stylists, other than your friends."

Another chimed in, "They are damaging your image at Cannes."
