Google releases new Android 15 UI features
Android 15 is live with updated features
Google released the second beta of Android 15 just a few hours ago.
This version comes with several new features and UI enhancements, one of which seems to have been influenced by the volume control menu in One UI 6.
On top of what Samsung provides with One UI, Android 15 includes media playback options.
Android 15's volume control menu allows you to change the output of media.
As per the report published on 9To5Google, Google has enhanced the UI for volume control in Android 15. Its appearance is reminiscent of One UI 6.0, where expanding the volume control slider displays an overflow menu.
Users may adjust the volume of alarms, call alerts, media playing, and notifications from the extended overflow menu.
Additionally, it has a dedicated volume control slider for media that is being played on a Google Cast device, such as Google TV or Home.
One feature that is present in Android 15 but absent from One UI is the option to switch between Google Cast devices for media playback. However, the entire overflow menu is coloured in Material You.
