Aamir Khan expresses desire for 'Sarfarosh' sequel: 'Should be made'

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan addressed the long-awaited sequel to his 1999 action-thriller Sarfarosh.
The 59-year-old actor and the Sarfarosh cast commemorated the movie's 25th anniversary with a special screening event in Mumbai, organized by director John Matthew Matthan.
During the interaction with the press, the PK actor was asked about his plans for Sarfarosh 2, on which he revealed that they have expressed exactly what he felt deep down.
Aamir shared, "You have just said what we all have felt in our hearts. I have been after John Mathew Mathan for so many years that he should make the sequel. In the climax of Sarfarosh we gave a hint about Sarfarosh 2 as well"
“I can commit about one thing, that we will definitely give it a really serious shot now of coming up with the right script and the right kind of film for it. So John you will have to get to work here. Sarfarosh 2 should be made even I feel that," he added.
The film Sarfarosh depicted the struggle of an Indian police officer against cross-border terrorism, and it was released on April 30, 1999.
On the work front, Aamir is presently filming his latest movie, Sitaare Zameen Par, alongside Genelia Deshmukh and Darsheel Safary.
