Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao reminisced about how Shah Rukh Khan's encouragement led him to purchase Janhvi Kapoor's house worth INR 44 crore.
During a recent interview with Mashable India, the 39-year-old actor disclosed how Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan influenced his choice to invest in an extravagant property.
The Stree actor said, “Shah Rukh sir had taught me one thing 'Son, whenever you buy a house, buy one a little beyond your means. That way, you’ll work harder because you’d want to earn it.’ I found this very fascinating.”
He further added, “Having a home in the city is of course a dream and we have built it lovingly, me and Patralekhaa.”
Rajkummar and his wife Patralekhaa sealed the transaction for INR 44 crore with Janhvi, who had bought the property in December 2020 for INR 39 crore, as reported by The Indian Express in 2022.
On the work front, Rajkummar Rao is gearing up for the release of his forthcoming film, Srikanth.
The biographical film, based on the life of Srikanth Bolla, will be released on May 10, 2024.
