Carpool violator busted for trying to use realistic dummy as passenger
California man takes mannequin out on ride to avoid heavy traffic.
Earlier this week, a car driver in California dressed a mannequin in an all-black ensemble with black shades and a goatee to use the carpool lane to avoid heavy traffic on highway, People reported.
The California Highway Patrol's Santa Fe Springs office shared a post on Instagram earlier this week a picture of the plastic passenger with a long caption.
In the post, they wrote, "We’ve gotta give it to them, the appearance is next level modelling but at the end of the day… plastic is plastic."
As per the post, it actually wasn’t the plastic passenger that caused the unidentified driver to get pulled over in the first place, but was rather stopped for multiple carpool violations.
Underneath the post, in the comments section, people chimed in, claiming that the mannequin looked like American Rapper Snoop Dog.
One user wrote, "Snoop, is that you?"
While another wrote, "I really don’t see a problem here because most people are fake and have lots of plastic on them anyways."
